Kayak Fishing

Hello!
My name is Mark Palovik, an engineer by trade, if you have seen my kayak you understand this. I live in the Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas area. Having fished for over 35 years, I can still remember my first fishing trip with my father, I was 8 years old and started with a spin caster fishing for trout. I did not catch many fish, but after one fish I was hooked. When I was 9 my father presented me with my very own fly rod, a Shakespeare, I still have it today. I have fished for every fish species since then.

I have competitively bass fished in B.A.S.S., Federation Nation, FLW and other events both as boater and non boater. I wanted an easier way to pre-fish for tournaments rather than have a motorboat, trailer & everything that goes with that. After looking on local forums I noticed the kayak group, having a lot of questions, I did a lot of reading, studying & rented many different kayaks. After trying out the Jackson Coosa, I was impressed by the best setup for fishing period. This kayak is more than just a few rod holders.

I still love fishing as much as I did when I was 8 years old. I also enjoy introducing & educating people of all ages to the excitement and relaxation fishing brings.
